In May 2011, I graduated
from Virginia Tech (praise God!) with my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies and minors in African American Studies, Religious Studies, Public & Urban Affairs, Spanish, and Sociology. In the year after I graduated, I ended up back at home working as a
substitute teacher and an associate at Old Navy. In addition to that, I was involved with
my church and other volunteer organizations. Now, I'm in the process of training to be a community organizer with The Dart Center!
As a result of doing ministry in South Africa and at Virginia Tech with the Impact Movement, my heart for evangelism and caring for people has grown! I have also grown tremendously in my relationship with the Lord and seek to glorify Him with my life.
